Is there a more beautiful time than autumn on our Main Campus? The leaves, chill in the air and even the smell indicates that fall is here. I just love seeing our students wearing their BC3 gear as they joyfully make their way across campus.
Over 100 student came from all of our BC3 locations to be recognized Saturday at our Annual Legacy Dinner with various scholarships from the BC3 Education Foundation, Inc. This semester, 88 scholarships were awarded to 133 students totaling $140,000. Out of those students, 34 received the President’s Scholarship.
The 2013 BC3 Distinguished Alumni were also honored at the Legacy Dinner. They are:
- Andrew McDowell (’89), Vice-President of the Western Field Operations of the Western Reserve Land Conservation in Ohio
- Brian Hortert (’85), CEO of Concordia Lutheran Ministries of Pittsburgh
- Kenneth L. Bronder, Sr. (’67), Vice President of Bronder Technical Services
Perhaps best of all – the Steelers won this weekend!
Enjoy the fall! Hope to see you at one of our campus locations.
