Today, August 21, was a wonderful day at all campus sites – but particularly our Main Campus in Butler Township. Close to 500 students, parents and friends attended our Annual Welcome Day. With the sun shining and a nice breeze, our new students benefited from meeting with faculty and staff. As I greeted new students in our Field House, I could sense the enthusiasm and excitement. I felt the same way 30 years ago as my mother and father sat nearby in my freshman orientation at the Penn State University – Beaver Campus.
The advice I offered our students was similar to what I received back in 1985: go to class; get involved; and get to know your professors.
It promises to be another banner year at all of our BC3 locations. Have a great academic year!
