Can you smell it? No, not the flowers or the freshly-cut grass: Graduation is in the air!
May 20 is BC3’s 47th Annual Commencement Ceremony during our 50th Golden Anniversary year. The day promises to be an exciting one.
The College’s second President from 1970-1984, Dr. Thomas Ten Hoeve, will return as the keynote speaker for this special celebration. Earlier in the day, we will hold a reception for Dr. and Mrs. Ten Hoeve from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Steffler Board Room in the Science and Technology Building. Commencement will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Field House. Over 230 of 548 graduating students will march in the ceremony. Seventeen students will graduate with two degrees, while two will earn three degrees.
Following the ceremony, students will have an opportunity to take photos in front of the College’s Conestoga Wagon, which was part of our 50th anniversary. A brief ceremony will take place in which student leaders will bury a time capsule marking the 50th year in the Oak Grove by the Student Success Center.
