Dear Students,
You may have recently read or heard that Butler County Community College suffered a $1 million operating budgetary cut from Butler County – our local sponsor. While a cut this size is never good news, frankly we were not surprised given these economic times.
As President of BC3, I want to ensure each of you that we will always remain true to our mission of “affordable and accessible education… in an environment that values integrity, diversity and excellence.”
The quality of our academic offerings has been validated over and over by different external accreditation agencies through the years. All recognize the College for our various educational programs, including excellence in a core curriculum and various assessment approaches.
Our award-winning faculty members will continue doing what they do best – teach in our student-centered institution. Our credits will continue to transfer to senior institutions. And our occupational students may have job opportunities after graduating with Associate in Applied Science degrees.
Should you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me by email at nicholas.neupauer@bc3.edu.
Thanks.
