I have often said, “BC3 is proud to be Butler County’s community college.” I certainly do no waiver from such a statement; however, with our new regional vision, we certainly understand the College’s role as an institution of higher education in all of northwestern Pennsylvania.
Last week, the College was recognized for our successful efforts in Mercer County.
The Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce named BC3 @ LindenPointe the winner of the Phoenix Award for Growth in a Large Industry. I was honored to join Vice President for Continuing Education and Off Campus Sites Bill O’Brien as well as the Director of BC3 @ LindenPointe John Suesser to receive the award.
The award validated the courage of the BC3 Board of Trustees and the BC3 Education Foundation, Inc. to partner in our 20,000 square-foot expansion project. Every time I go to the facility, I am overwhelmed by the student and faculty pride and offerings.
BC3 @ LindenPointe follows suit with our expansion many years ago at BC3 @ Cranberry as well as more recently with BC3 @ Lawrence Crossing. Add in our campus beautification efforts on main campus and you can understand why I am so honored to be president of this wonderful institution!
