Welcome to the 2011-12 academic year! So far, so good on a beautiful first day of classes.
I always enjoy meeting with incoming freshman during our student orientation sessions. When I do, I immediately think of when I was in their shoes as a freshman at Penn State University’s Beaver Campus back in 1985.
Tons of advice and pointers can be overwhelming for new students, but easy-to-read suggestions do help. Please consider my blog entry from last August of 2009 entitled “Top 10 List for Student Success.”
