Butler County Community College held its regularly scheduled Board of Trustee meeting yesterday at BC3 @ Cranberry. At the meeting, the Board unanimously voted that the College supports the Butler County Board of Commissioners’ lawsuit against the County Controller by becoming a voluntary plaintiff.
To reiterate, the Board and I have confidence in the legal suit that has been filed. As I stated last week, we should be going about all aspects of the College with a “business as usual” approach.
To the end, I am delighted to share that fall 2010 priority registration at the College has yielded incredible results! A total of 1,094 students signed up for classes during the first two days of priority registration. This translates to increases of 292 students and 36 percent from last year.
Summer enrollment is at 1,441 students for an increase of 15.5 percent.
To our faculty and staff, please continue your tremendous work. To our students, best wishes for your final exams. To all others, thanks for your continued support of Butler County Community College.
