Baseball is around the corner – and a winning season for the Pirates? The Pens will defend Lord Stanley’s Cup when the NHL playoffs start. And the Steelers will certainly get back on track toward a seventh world title with the NFL Draft in April.
The spring semester also brings a number of wonderful events at BC3. This past week, we honored Dean’s List, President’s List, and Who’s Who students in our annual Awards Ceremony. Phi Theta Kappa will induct new members on March 26. Nurses Pinning and Commencement in mid-May will cap the 2009-10 academic year.
Make sure to hit the books and finish the semester strong. Don’t be tempted to blow something off by enjoying a nice spring day. Although I know the urge may be hard to resist – especially after this brutal winter.
