Often, I am proud of Butler County Community College. Earlier this week was yet another time.
Our Communications and Marketing staff shined at the annual National Council of Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) conference held in Pittsburgh.
Staff members Susan Changnon, Jessica Matonak and Dennis Birkes – who teamed up with me – all made presentations to the audience of over 70. Those in attendance represented community colleges from the northeast.
Even better yet was the fact that our Communications and Marketing Division won four Medallion Awards: two Gold Medallions for Outdoor/Advertising Billboards and Radio/PSA Advertisements, one Silver Medallion for Video Advertisements and one Bronze Medallion for College Promotional Videos.
Several people pulled me aside at the conference and commented on our approach to public relations. These individuals yearned for information, advice and tips on how they could prosper like BC3.
Yep, just another day in the life of serving as proud President of BC3. Great work, guys!
