As a sports fanatic, I often overdue it on sports analogies.
Please stick with me on this one: March and April is BC3’s playoff run… and Commencement is our Super Bowl!
Since late March, the College has honored our stellar students and employees with various events. On March 16, our chapter of Phi Theta Kappa welcomed new inductees. On March 20, we held our Student Awards Day. Several students lobbied on behalf of the College in Harrisburg on April 3. Two days later, on April 5, the first Academic Success Forum was held.
On the personnel side, the College hosted our Annual Recognition Dinner on April 26. This year’s edition featured video interviews of honorees. It was a huge success!
May 10, the Nursing Division will hold its Annual Pinning Ceremony. And, finally, on May 15, a record crowd is expected for the College’s Commencement Ceremony.
I am lucky to attend each of the aforementioned events. To visit with students and family truly reinforces why we do what we do – provide quality, affordable and accessible education as a regional institution of higher learning. Much like the Steelers lifting another Lombardi Trophy, I sparkle with pride for our students’ accomplishments.
See you at Commencement!
