Appalachia Reading Series: Fall 2023","description":"<p>Join us at the Heaton Family Learning Commons for our latest literary event: Fall 2023&#8217;s <strong>Northern Appalachia Reading Series.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Author Mitch James will be reading from his recent novel, <b><em>Seldom Seen: A Miner&#8217;s Tale<\/em><\/b>, set in a Pennsylvania coal mine.<\/p>\n<p>The reading will be followed by a <strong>Q&amp;A session with the author<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>book signing.\u00a0<\/strong>Copies of the novel will be available for purchase at the BC3 Bookstore.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the reading, the BC3&#8217;s Writer&#8217;s Club will host an <strong>open mic at 6 p.m.<\/strong>, featuring students and faculty readers.<\/p>\n<p>Light refreshments will also be
